In order to use the Scan To button, you must have performed the recommended installation, and the button must have destinations set. See Set up the product Scan To button. In order to use the Start Scan button, the product must be connected to a computer via USB or a network. |

Scan directly from the product by using the control-panel scan buttons. Press Start Scan or Scan To to scan to a folder (Windows only) or to scan to e‑mail.
